Established in 1994, River City Coffee Roasters, Bakery & Eatery is a local hot spot and as the Sunshine Coast’s first and longest-running coffee roaster, we know a thing or two about coffee.

Our location includes a seating area for more than 60 people, with high industrial ceilings, warm tones, plants, comfy nooks and curated music, and a sun-kissed patio making for the perfect coffee house vibe. We are foodies at heart and you’ll see this reflected in our menu. Our food is made to order from scratch and includes a wide selection of both breakfast and lunch dishes, daily specials and allergy-friendly options. Our entire menu can be made gluten-free, plus we have an extensive list of vegan options. We care about how you choose to eat whether it is a preference or allergy our team will take great care of you. Our baked goods are all made from scratch, baked fresh each morning.

Our expertly-trained baristas will make your drink exactly the way you like it. We use our own house-made syrups and offer cocktail-inspired drink specials — there is always something exciting happening!

Our roasting operation is located in our warehouse on Highway 101 just south of Powell River. While it’s not open to the public, you can count on the variety of 10+ roasts and coffee blends created by our expert roasters. You can find our coffee all over town, at local grocers including FreshCo and the Chopping Block, and brewing in Powell River’s best restaurants. Join us for great coffee, exciting and extremely fresh food, and the warm service you deserve.

We are open from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 2:00 pm Saturday and closed on Sundays and stat. holidays, We look forward to seeing you soon.
